showtrailvo was founded to close a gap we kept seeing across UK broadcast and streaming production: talented crew members who understood theory but had never sat behind a live vision mixer under time pressure. We built a course around that missing hands-on experience.
Today our courses cover multi-camera switching, live broadcasting technique, real-time video operation and the day-to-day management of television and streaming productions, taught in fully-equipped control room studios across the country.
What we stand for
Real equipment, real pressure
We train on the same switchers, monitor walls and comms panels used in working television and streaming galleries, not on simplified simulators.
Taught by working practitioners
Every instructor at showtrailvo currently works or has recently worked as a vision mixer, technical director or broadcast engineer.
Small cohorts, close mentoring
We cap our control room courses to keep hands-on desk time high and give every trainee direct feedback during live exercises.
Meet the training team
Our instructors split their time between teaching at showtrailvo and working live shifts in television studios, sports outside broadcast trucks and streaming production galleries around the United Kingdom. That balance keeps every course current with how productions are actually run today.
