Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 19 September 2026

Scope of This Policy

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all courses, training programmes and related digital materials offered by showtrailvo that focus on live production decks and control rooms, including multi-camera switching, live broadcasting techniques, real-time video operation and professional management of television and streaming productions. It covers purchases made through our commercial website by customers located in the United Kingdom and explains how payments are processed, when contracts are formed and the circumstances under which refunds may be granted.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include value added tax at the prevailing UK rate where applicable. Any additional charges such as optional certification fees or extended access periods are shown clearly before checkout. No hidden fees are added after purchase. Prices may change from time to time but confirmed orders remain at the price displayed at the time of booking.

Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security

We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal and bank transfers. Payments are authorised immediately upon submission of an order. All transactions are processed through secure third-party gateways that comply with PCI DSS standards. showtrailvo does not store card details on its own systems.

Order Confirmation and Contract Formation

Once you complete the booking process you will receive an email confirmation containing order details and access instructions. A binding contract is formed when we send this confirmation. Until then no contract exists and we reserve the right to decline any order.

Cancellation Rights and Applicable Periods

Under UK consumer law you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase during which you may cancel for any reason. Because our courses consist of digital content, cancellation rights end once you begin accessing the materials or commence streaming lessons. If you have not started the course you may cancel within the 14 days and receive a full refund.

Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items

Refunds are available for unused courses within the cooling-off period. No refunds are granted after you have accessed any part of the course content, completed more than 10 percent of the material or received any downloadable resources. Promotional bundles and gift vouchers are non-refundable once redeemed.

Step-by-Step Procedure to Request a Refund

To request a refund please email [email protected] with your order number, full name and reason for cancellation. Include any supporting information such as screenshots showing you have not accessed the course. Requests must be submitted within the applicable time limits.

Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification

Our team reviews each request within five working days. We verify whether access has occurred and whether the request meets policy criteria. You will be notified by email of the decision. If approved, the refund is processed; if rejected we explain the reasons and any further options available.

Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Credit and debit card refunds typically appear within five to ten working days. PayPal refunds are usually credited within three working days. Bank transfers may take up to fourteen days depending on your bank.

Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions and Services

Our courses are delivered as digital content. Once you start streaming or downloading materials your right to cancel ends immediately. Subscription renewals are charged automatically unless cancelled at least seven days before the renewal date. No partial refunds are available for partially used subscription periods.

Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud

If a payment fails you will be notified and given the opportunity to retry with another method. Duplicate charges are investigated promptly and corrected by issuing a refund for the excess amount. Chargebacks and suspected fraudulent activity are referred to our payment processors and may result in account suspension while investigations proceed.

Mandatory Consumer Rights in the United Kingdom

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. These rights cannot be excluded or limited by contract.
